How you train in the gym affects your performance in the activities you love! Here’s your chance to build lower body strength and increase your endurance while having fun training with other athletes. This program is for mountain bikers, road cyclists and recreational trailblazers looking to improve their riding performance, or for athletes looking to improve performance in the gym or another sport they love. Throughout this course participants will improve:

• Leg strength
• Endurance
• Resiliency to injury

Program details: 

Location - CrossFit Newmarket Central (125 Harry Walker Pkwy., Newmarket)

Time - Sundays from 1 to 2:30 p.m.

Date - October 22 and 29, November 5, 12, 19 and 26 

Cost - $250 + HST ($42 per 1.5-hour session)

The program will include: 

• Lifting for strength-building
• Single-leg work
• Core and stability
• Lower body accessory work
• Stretches and mobility
• Weekly homework
• Testing phases at the beginning and end of the course for measurable results
• Jenny Shreds stickers
• Optional Jenny Shreds Fit Camp T-shirt
